About the event

Dance for Life Suicide Prevention & Good Mental Health nonprofit is rolling out the red carpet for its first annual New Year Hope Gala Masquerade Ball and invites Utah to celebrate hope this New Year's weekend at the most celebrated event of the year!  Evening includes a red-carpet social hour with hors d'oeuvres and drinks* followed by an exquisite dinner buffet by Brown Brothers Catering with piano by Kyle Woodruff,  MC George Severson producer of ABC4 Utah, guest star speaker Nigel Lythgoe producer & director of "So You Think You Can Dance" and "American Idol" with introductory speaker Antoinette Stapley of "Operation Hero", performances by Thayne Jasperson Broadway "Hamilton" Star, award-winning ballroom dancers Dallin Keck, Brandon Keck, Serena Keck & Kate Heiner, master violinist Erika Hubbard and fabulous dancing to CityJazz Live Big Band and Utah Jive! Proceeds benefit Dance for Life suicide prevention and mental health programs.  

*Alcohol is prohibited at the Utah State Capitol - all drinks will be non-alcoholic
